What if my order arrives damaged?
We take great care to ensure a flawless delivery; all of our products are manufactured and packaged to strict specifications to avoid damage. However, in the rare instance your order arrives damaged, we will swiftly exchange the item at no cost to you. We highly recommend checking your order upon arrival for visible damage. See Returns for more details.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email from Zen Bedrooms with a tracking number. This will take you to a third party website, where you will be able to monitor the progress of your shipment.

Can my neighbor accept a package for me?
We use different couriers depending on location and the fastest available option; please refer to the policy of the courier selected to deliver your order.

Mattress FAQs

Are your mattresses made in the USA?
Yes, our memory foam mattresses are sourced and manufactured in the USA for true American quality.

How do they come in such a small box?
We compress and vacuum-pack our memory foam mattresses, roll and fold into compact packaging, then place in a protective box. Our packaging makes it easy to maneuver and transport your mattress, reducing transportation costs for the best possible value.

How do I know which mattress is right for me?
We’ve compiled a simple selection of memory foam mattresses that is comprehensive and easy to navigate. If you aren’t sure whether a soft or firm mattress is best for you, our Mattress Buying Guide has the answers you’re looking for. Our buying guide details the various properties of every mattress so you can make an informed decision.

Do your memory foam mattresses smell?
We use well-made memory foam that doesn’t retain a long-term chemical odor. Your mattress is vacuum packed immediately after production, so there may be a discernible smell immediately upon opening. This will begin to fade immediately; to help the odor subside as quickly as possible, we recommend ventilating your room and washing sheets.

Do your memory foam mattresses contain formaldehyde, CFCs, PBDEs, or other carcinogens?
No, our memory foam is American-made, using a healthy process that does not use any dangerous chemicals or other harmful materials.

What is foam density?
Foam density represents the weight of one square foot of memory foam in cubic pounds per feet. A higher foam density does not necessarily determine mattress firmness; see our Mattress Buying Guide for more details.

How long can I leave the mattress in its original packaging?
We recommend leaving your mattress in the packaging for no more than 90 days after receiving it.

Can I use a heating pad with a Zen Bedrooms memory foam mattress?
We do not recommend using a heating pad because it can detract from the longevity of the memory foam. Our memory foam is durable and temperature-regulated for optimal sleep.

Do I need a box spring with a Zen Bedrooms memory foam mattress?
Our memory foam mattresses do not require the use of a box spring, but may be used with one. A bed frame or box spring will support your mattress—you can even put it directly on the floor!
